Hidden iOS 7 Features & Bugs You Probably Didn’t Know !

iOS 7

:)
Hidden Features ( Tips )
Pinch to Free-RotateWell this is kinda a funky feature and as well as useful one.Just open the photos app and open any photo. Now pinch the photo from 2 or more fingers,You’ll see the photo closes and you’ll get back in to thumbnail view. And as well as you can pinch the photo a bit and rotate it or a drag it to anywhere of your iPhone screen as shown as in the screenshot below
Slide to Go back
This is a pretty cool feature. Some say this feature was an idea of Cydia tweak.Anyway this is a the method.Open any app that will let you give access in to a page forward.(ex: Settings > General). Now from there slide from the left edge of your iPhone screen and you’ll see you’re been headed to the previous page of app.The screenshot below shows it clearly
Black Lock screenWell,I dunno if this a bug or a feature. But it’s fun to try this.First lock your iPhone. Now wake your screen by pressing home or sleep/wake button. Now slide then lock screen to half of it(Don’t unlock it). While touching screen lock the device again using sleep button. Now screen should be turned off.Press the home+sleep button and take a screenshot  You’ll see after the screen flashes it will remain as white(this should also be a bug). Now touch the screen more than once. That’s it.Unlock the device and check the Photos. You’ll see the clock in a completely dark or faded screen.
BugsMost of the bugs are UI errors. But as a stable release these errors are disappointing
Non updated field test splash screen
Every iOS App have a splash screen, that comes firstly when you launch an app.It will be on your screen till app loads. So the field test app too.You can access it by dialing  *3001#12345#*  from phone and calling it.On the splash screen of field test app, you’ll see it will come up with iOS 6(or later) graphics & Also it looks pretty ugly there.Apple better update this
Status bar on full screen photosI’m not pretty sure if this a bug or not.But I found that it’s not a useful function at all.If you tried the pinch feature that we explained before in features list. You can pinch it to zoom out(free-hand) and again you can pinch in the photo and keep the photo fullscreen. In this case you’ll see the status bar will appear over the photo that doesn’t appear usually when we use the full screen function
Phone app launchTake a call from phone.and Go to the contacts using in-call menu. Now open any of your contact.Press the Home button and come to Home screen(call will be running in the background). Now open the Phone app again by tapping icon. You’ll see a big Phone icon as the background of app for few seconds
Usage Listing iCloud mess-up
This isn’t really a bug,but a UI mess-up.Open the settings and go to General and usage. In the end of the apps’ usage listing you’ll see the iCloud information. But like in the screenshot below. The iCloud text have come over the app listing.I experienced that this issue doesn’t appear every time. But in the most of the time.
Calendar UI mess-up
This is also a UI mess-up.Open Calendar app.and go to today. Now tap the today text again. You’ll see the red ball flashes in the date text. But just after flashing, you can notice that the date text letter spacing changes..(You’ll have to look closely).Actually this is an unidentifiable error. But remember that older versions of iOS releases never had this kind of errors.Sad :(
Lock Screen mess-up
This is also a UI mess-up.Lock your phone and wake the screen from a button. Now slide the lock screen to a half or 3/4 of that and lock the screen again while touching screen. Now wake the screen again by pressing a button. In some cases you’ll see the slide to unlock text have slide it self but the time & date text is still in the start position.
Siri switch for iPhone 4
When iTunes downloads the iOS file for your iPhone it downloads different files for the iPhone model you choose. So the iOS IPSW files are customized for the devices. But when after using iOS 7 on iPhone 4, you will see a function linked to Siri is available for iPhone 4.Apple,Why ?? Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Switch Control>Switches>Add new Switch>Screen>Full Screen> Under the System functions ‘Siri’ will be there.
